White Beach is located on the small island of Boracay in the Philippines. Renowned for its nightlife, silky sand beaches and shallow, crystal clear water, White Beach has won numerous magazine awards for its beauty and serene atmosphere. The beach is divided into three sections, and each caters to a different type of traveller. There are segment for luxury travellers, social butterflies and those looking for peace and relaxation. Each area is called a “station”, stemming from the days that boats could land on the beach and they would have to land at either station 1, 2, or 3.

Station one is where many of the islands luxury resorts are located. Here the rooms are spacious, yet expensive. The beach is extremely wide here, which gives visitors more space to themselves. Here you can also see the famous Willy’s Rock, a landmark of Boracay, and the ideal spot for a stunning photo. The water here is also extremely shallow, making it a safe space for children to play if you are traveling with your family. There are also three smaller nightclubs located in the vicinity of station 1 if you are looking to stay in a luxurious setting and still have some lively nights! Overall station one is ideal for anyone who is looking for a little more comfort on their trip to the wonderful island of Boracay.

Station two is the central part of White Beach, and is very lively, with businesses, bars and clubs. Here the resorts are mid priced, and the beach is slightly narrower, but the water is still shallow. There is also a greater potential for crowds here than the other two stations as you are right in the centre of Boracay. D’mall is the shopping centre on the island, and is centrally located in station two. There is also a fresh fish market called D’Talipapa located in the southern part of the station. At night this area of the beach bustles with energy,, as it has tons of live music, bars and clubs.

Station three is slightly more isolated than the other two segments of the beach, yet still has many amenities and activities. Here the water becomes deep more quickly than the other two stations, but the beach is still as beautiful as ever. This section of the island has many backpacker hostels, and budget hotels. There are also more green spaces here, and this allows visitors to immerse themselves into the nature of the island. For activities in the evening there are a few relaxed bars and one club.

Overall, White Beach is one of the most breathtaking beaches in the world, and is a great destination if you are looking to have some fun in the sun! Visitors often spend their time here playing beach volleyball at one of the many courts, swimming in the ocean or sunbathing. In the evening there are many things to do no matter where you are staying! There are options for any type of traveller on the island; if you are looking for something luxurious stay in Station 1, for liveliness stay in station 2, and for nature and budget accommodation stay in station 3.
